JOB SUMMARY: Attract new Agents and ISOs to sell merchant services under the CardSolve brand. Manage and motivate existing Agents and ISOs to attain sales achievement and equipment goals as required by the CardSolve Canada. Maximize hardware/software solutions sales activity through all channels. Work with all First Data business functions, including VAPP, AIS, Credit Initiation, Finance, Deployment, Customer Service, Pricing and Product Management, spanning all facilities to ensure quality and successful implementation of new accounts into the alliance revenue system. JOB DUTIES:1. Identifies strategic new business opportunities. Leverage current merchant base to deliver value-added products and services. Develops marketing plans, business plans, sales strategies and action plans for identified targets of opportunity that clearly define objectives, goals, win strategies, schedules and action assignments. 2. Evaluates and prioritizes the impact of various new proposed projects for products and services providing incremental revenue and profit. Researches, analyzes and monitors the financial, technological and demographic factors that may affect the present and future needs of the merchant base, product mix, and distribution channels.3. Introduce new vendor partners and negotiate proposals with new partners and vendors. Ensures pricing, volume, support, indemnification, termination, duration, etc are taken into consideration.4. Completes detailed RFP responses and proposals to attract new business. Completes presentation decks and presentations to potential customers including new product introduction plans, strategic initiatives and business development strategies.5. Negotiates all contract and business terms including non-disclosure agreements, letters of intent, confidentiality and success measurements for regional merchants with credit card volume between $0 and $3M. Consults with FDMS counsel and senior management as appropriate. 6. Builds strong relationships with existing clients in order to maximize new merchant growth by assessing merchant needs and propose new products, services, and solutions that will add value to the overall relationship through quality and cost improvements. 7. Performs all duties inherent in a managerial role. Ensures appropriate sales agento / ISO training and development. 8. Provides input into the preparation of the department budget. Ensures compliance to approved budgetary constraints.9. Prepares periodic and ad hoc reports to keep senior management informed of activities, accomplishments, problems, etc.10. Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.KNOWLEDGE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:Extensive sales experience. A successful sales record as an Account Executive, Territory Manager or Sales Trainer. Previous experience working within the ISO / Agent merchant business, a Bank Partner, or other similar networking experience. University degree in Business, Marketing or related field with a minimum of ten (10) years progressive sales experience in a credit card merchant/consumer environment or the equivalent required. Exceptional interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills required. Strong negotiation, consultative, and organization skills also required. CONTACTS (Internal/External):Contacts are both internal with sales and sales support functions, and external with Agent / ISO partners, prospects and vendors. Communications frequent and generally initiated with those outside the organization requiring persuasion, influence and negotiation.
Candidate Requirements: `Expert in one or two operations and systems (Unix, Windows, AS400, Tandem).`Trouble-shoots on less complex data operations.`Possesses general knowledge of business operations.`3+ yrs of related IT experience.`Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent work experience and/or Certifications.
