Position: Retail (In House) Sales Manager
The right candidate for this position is one who:
- Has demonstrated ability to provide direction, motivation and leadership with a team of sales representatives.
- Displays and creates a sense of urgency in their team to achieve sales and outstanding results.
- Places a high priority on the ongoing coaching and mentoring of his or her sales team by establishing and maintaining mechanisms for communication, feedback and accountability.
- Sets metrics and strategies surrounding lead activity, opportunity activity, bid activity, average quote dollars, close ratio, and average sales dollars. Lead activity includes managing allocated leads, self-generating leads and ensuring follow-up on referrals.
- Identifies untapped sources for generating revenue, and develops corresponding business strategies.
- Can utilize the company’s various computer applications for tracking sales and ordering product.
- Is able to communicate proficiently in written and verbal formats in individual and group settings.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field; 7 - 10 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 7 years managing a sales team
- Clean driving record
- Analytic personality and mathematically proficient
