We are seeking a Medical Director to lead its medical personnel and practice in an outpatient setting. BSDC is an Intermediate Care Facility for the Mentally Retarded (ICFMR) that delivers various services to its 180+ residents, including health, medical, vocational, and social services in an inter-professional and integrated model. The selected person would have the opportunity for an academic appointment at the applicable faculty level at University of Nebraska Medical Center.
REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must be licensed or eligible to be licensed in the State of Nebraska and must have completed a residency program in primary care or medical specialty at a US-accredited program. Management experience in a clinical or hospital setting is required. Experience with patients with developmental disabilities or related condition is desirable but not necessary. Board certification is a must.
