Perform routine nursing duties involved in the general and/or extensive care of elderly, mentally, and physically incapacitated members in the Norfolk Veterans' Home under direct supervision of a Nurse Supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 18 years of age and completed an approved 76-hour Nursing Assistant course. Ability to do heavy lifting on a daily basis. Ability to stoop, bend, reach overhead and walk or stand, up to 90% of the shift. Successful completion of the Medication Aide course within first year of employment.
